Another edition of hack4good came to an end last Sunday. There were five teams taking part in the competition this time. The groups could present the results of their hard work in front of a jury which consisted of professionals: Barbara Madej – Webmuses, Catherine Mrowiec – Sabre Airline Solutions, Robert Rachwał – ClickMaster Poland and Grzegorz Banas – Hub: raum Kraków. All of the teams took the task very seriously and were very creative, especially when they were testing their apps.
During the two days of this unusual meeting, there was not only the time to design applications, but there was also a possibility for the participants to relax after hard work, while waiting for the jury to announce the winners. Below you can see the winning projects of the hack4good 0.6 Kraków:
1st place http://holepatchers.com/ – mobile application that allows reporting holes in the roads, which leads to improvement of roads’ quality.
2nd place http://foodsurfing.pl/ – an online application that facilitates food management, reduces the amount of wasted food, saving money, energy and time, and that gives the opportunity to meet new people.
3rd place “Local” – visualization nieprogramistycznego project, aimed at increasing public awareness of the issue of local food products, and to encourage reaching for a fresh and healthy products found in the region.
We are happy that our colleagues from creativestyle, who co-created “food surfing” were among the winning teams.
Congratulations to all the winners!
